This is the operator's snow-free-season Korouoma hike: the same family-run team (Arctic GM, roots in Lapland since the 1600s) that runs the winter frozen-waterfall tour, taking you into the canyon when the forest is green or golden and the waterfalls are flowing rather than frozen.
After pickup from your Rovaniemi accommodation you ride out to Korouoma Nature Reserve in a brand-new 4x4 van, then follow your guide on a moderate 4–6 km hike along forest trails and the canyon floor, stopping at waterfalls and viewpoints along the way. Groups are capped at 8 guests, so the pace stays relaxed with time for photos.
Partway through, the group stops for a traditional Lapland barbecue cooked outdoors. The guide is first-aid trained, and the hike suits anyone with a moderate level of fitness.
