About This Experience
Nordic Unique Travels' version is the longest on this site at 7–8 hours and the most fully equipped: winter overall and boots, ice grippers for the slippery stretches, a Lappish lunch, and professional photos emailed afterwards.
You hike the Arctic Circle landscape to the frozen waterfalls, canyons and forests, stopping to taste Lappish cuisine along the way. Guides speak English with Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese available on request.
Meet at the office at Maakuntakatu 29, Rovaniemi; pickup is offered from selected hotels within 10 km of the centre. Minimum group sizes apply (2 on weekdays and Saturdays, 4 on Sundays and holidays).

What an incredible experience!! Our tour guides were great, so friendly and knowledgeable! The hike is breathtaking with views beyond our expectations. At the end they did a lovely fire pit/lunch right outside. Not a difficult hike and would highly recommend.

Excellent way to experience the outdoors near Rovaniemi. It is a long hike. The path have parts that are steep and icy and you need to be careful. Our guides Alex and Julia were awesome and took good care of our group. Making sure everyone stayed safe and had fun. We enjoyed this a lot more than we thought we would. Highly reccommend!
